I've recently found out (late November 2000) that there are only going to be 65 episodes (plus the three that make up the Nick Flick) made, and the production staff has pretty much gone on to other projects.
For whatever reason, five of the episodes are not aired by Nicktoons (not counting the Nick Flick - Nicktoons usually doesn't air episodes of any show that are longer than 30 minutes).
Episode 1 first appeared April 4, 1998, after the Kids Choice Awards
The series began on a regular basis, beginning with Episode 2, on October 5, 1998, running each weekday
Episodes are numbered in the order in which they originally aired, which is not necessarily the order in which they are repeated

Eai it 'til your mourh is numb

Feed me junk 'til I explode!

Lyrics to songs - all songs written by Peter Hannan and arranged by Denis M. Hannigan
CatDog Opening Theme (special lyrics for this episode)
One fine day, with a question on their mind
CatDog left ol' Nearburg behind
Tired of wonderin', tired of feelin' bad
Set off searchin' for their mom and their dad
CatDog, CatDog
Out on the road went the little CatDog
They're gonna find wierdos, gonna find nuts
Pussycats, goofballs, hillbilly mutts
They look real high, and they look real low
Look in places where the sun don't go
CatDog, CatDog
What are ya gonna find, you little CatDog?
CatDog, CatDog
What are ya gonna find, you little CatDog?
CatDog Closing Theme (special lyrics for this episode)
They found some wierdos, found some nuts
Pussycats, goofballs, hillbilly mutts
They looked real high, and they looked real low
And they looked in places where the sun don't go
CatDog, CatDog
It's been a long road for the little CatDog
One fine day, with a splash and a smack
CatDog finally did come back
Thankful for everything that they had
A huge hairy mom and a little green dad
CatDog, CatDog
Alone no more is the little CatDog
CatDog, CatDog
Alone no more is the little CatDog
Parents (opening version)
Parents - that's right, parents
Tall, short, wacky, wiggly parents
We're parental through and through
Raising kids is what we do
Feed 'em, wash 'em, dry 'em too
We are parents
Oh, parents - you heard me, parents
Up, down, sideways, backwards, parents (ay yi yi!)
Sometimes happy, sometimes not
Some run cold, and some run hot
We're the only ones you've got
We're your parents
Bandage boo-boos, scrapes, and cuts
Wiping noses drives 'em nuts
We are parents, we are parents, we are parents
Oh, what a happy sound
Parents falling on the ground
And (they'd rather save their pennies, stinkin') parents
Moody, nutty, fancy, cruddy
We're your parents
(Words in parentheses were hard to decipher - they were sung by Eddie the Squirrel)
Parents (closing version)
CatDog: Parents - oh we got parents
Small, slimy, big and grimy parents
Dad: Though we might seem strange to you
Mom: We are parents through and through
Dog: I bet yours are wierdos too
Cat: 'Cause they're parents
Dad: Parents - we're just parents
Mom: Proud, loving, nagging, hugging parents
Dad: First I cooked them up some grub
Mom: Climb those stairs and in the tub
Dad: Hurry up, for the love of chub
We're your parents
Dog: Hi ho diggety
Cat: What a dream
Mom: I've got big feet
Dad: And I'm green
We're your parents
Mom & Dad: Simply parents
CatDog: We've got parents
Cat: Oh, mama
Dog: Oh, pop
Dad: Will this lovefest never stop?
Mom: Did I mention we're your ever-lovin' parents?
CatDog: Crazy, (jolly,) goofy, laughy, wiggly parents!
(The second word in the last line probably isn't "jolly" but rhymes with it)
Ain't No More
Well, we used to cuss and fight but ain't no more
We used to scratch and bite but ain't no more
We loved to chase you all about
We lived to claw your eyeballs out
We used to cuss and fight but ain't no more
We used to hate cat guts but ain't no more
We used to whoop dog butts but ain't no more
We loved to make you whine and cry
We longed to see you up and die
We used to cuss and fight but ain't no more
Ain't no more, ain't no more
We used to cuss and fight but ain't no more
We used to clomp you on your tail
Yank them whiskers 'till you wail
We used to cuss and fight but ain't no more
We used to cuss and fight but ain't no more
Well, we used to get along but ain't no more
We sang that sappy song but ain't no more
We used to smile and be polite
But now we'd really rather fight
We used to get along but ain't no more
We used to (be real nice) but ain't no more
Even kissed you once or twice but ain't no more
The bestest friends you'd ever find
But now I'm whippin' your behind
We used to get along but ain't no more
Ain't no more, ain't no more
We used to act like friends but ain't no more
You must have had me hypnotized
But now I'm scratchin' out your eyes
We used to get along but ain't no more
We used to get along but ain't no more
And we'll fight like cats and dogs forever more
(The words in parentheses were drowned out by dialogue and may not be correct)
